See the blanks before they go

Remove blank PDF pages

No files yet. Drop them above. They stay on your computer.

Remove blank pages draws every page in this browser and marks the ones that look empty. Those marks start selected. Click a thumbnail to keep a page, or to mark one the detector missed. Nothing is removed until you press the button.

The check ignores a thin border, so a feeder edge does not count as writing. Real text stays unmarked. A pale watermark, a light logo, or a gray blank back can still be wrong, which is why the grid is the decision. You download a new file. The PDF on disk stays as it is. Unlock password-protected files on your computer first.

They stay on your computer. Nothing is uploaded.

How to remove blank PDF pages in your browser

  1. Drop one PDF. Thumbnails draw locally, one page at a time.
  2. Review the pages marked Blank. Click a page to keep it, or to mark one that should go.
  3. Remove the marked pages. At least one page has to stay.
  4. Download the new PDF. The file you dropped is unchanged.

Remove blank pages without uploading

Sites that delete blank pages take the scan, including whatever is on the pages that are not blank. This page never receives the file. The mark is a guess from the pixels in this tab. You confirm it before a page is dropped.

Questions

Are blank pages deleted before I look?

No. Thumbnails appear first. Pages that look empty start marked. You clear a mark or add one, then remove.

Will a page with a light logo be marked blank?

Sometimes. A very pale mark can look empty. Click that thumbnail so it stays.

What if nothing looks blank?

The page says so. Mark a page yourself if one should still go. No file is offered until at least one page is marked.

Are the thumbnails uploaded?

No. PDF.js draws them in this browser. They are never sent to LoveThisPDF.

Will this change the original PDF?

No. You download a copy. The file you dropped stays on disk.
